Check out this poster homage I just finished. One of the most endearing things about those old posters is that they’d always get the character’s costume wrong, so this is me attempting to be a painter in the 40s who’s just doing it for a paycheck.
I said it yesterday and I'lll say it again. Olly Moss is the best. I hope he does Superman posters for Mondo also.

An idea for my PR Spider-Man entry…Unsure about separating the legs from the body of the spider.

I don’t know if anybody put these two together yet, but here’s Doctor Doom: Sorcerer Supreme. I was thinking about what I would do if I ever got to do the Exiles book and really like this idea. Oh yeah and he’s a good guy because I said so.

I’m thinking of buying two of these and getting them sewn onto either arm of a leather jacket I have. Here’s the link: https://www.etsy.com/listing/67001891/x-men-emblem-iron-on-patch

‘X-Men’ is not a story about superheroes, but a story about the ongoing revolutionary struggle between good/new and bad/old. The X-Men are every rebel teenager wanting to change the world and make it better. Humanity is every adult, clinging to the past, trying to destroy the future even as he places all his hopes there.

I finally gave in and made my own X-Men: First Class poster. Hope people like it and junk.

Here’s a warm up sketch I did today to prove to myself that I can actually somewhat ink things. …Somewhat.

Here’s what I was working on. Not my usual style, just playing around with things. I already see a few things I’m not too happy about but I think I’m going to leave this one alone now.
