Recolored my Nightwing from earlier

So I got this idea for a Nightwing series. Basically, if the Rockford Files is the inspiration for Hawkeye, Bruce Lee movies would be my inspiration for Nightwing. He’d jetset around the world accompanied occasionally by Bette Kane aka Flamebird and they’d get stuck in martial arts tournaments or have to bust up Yazkua drug rings… Things like that. I feel like Nightwing is the one who could inherit all the cool James Bondian/Mission Impossible adventures Batman had in the 70s. He’d become more of an international superhero doing cool shit in places like Thailand or Hong Kong or something. The new Batman and Robin have things covered in Gotham, so why doesn’t he explore the world a little rather than just find a Gotham knock-off to run around in? Sure he’d have a home base, but if anything it’d probably just be the penthouse in Gotham. A loft or something. 

The redesign for Nightwing is an inversion of Bruce Lee’s Game of Death suit but it’d be dark blue and yellow like his original Nightwing suits. 

Came across this Batman by Charles Burns and I really wanted to see what it’d look like with color. 

Dynamic Duo 2.0

Guess what? I had a bunch of coffee two hours ago so I stayed up to reink and recolor my Batman doodle so that it’d fit with Robin. 

Damian’s a big Bruce Lee fan. 

Maybe my favorite chapter of Morrison’s Batman run. 

Thing I made for fun. I think he’d be a good Batman. 

Here’s an idea for Robin I’ve had for a while. Just kind of making him more of Batman’s medic/scout and applying some of the classic elements but in more of an actual urban war zone setting. I was actually going to enter this in Dustin Nguyen’s Batman redesign contest on deviantart, but work/life got in the way. 

Dear Beware The Batman, I watched you today and you were awesome, but I think I know how to make you more awesome…

So this is kinda funny. Here’s a Dark Knight movie poster I made three years ago, and underneath it is a t-shirt my mom bought for me a few months ago. Granted it’s a pretty basic idea for Batman, but yeah.
